A poetic reimagining of 6th century Lothian princess Thaney (St Teneu), daughter of Loth of Traprain Law.
This very special, one-off, final homecoming performance of Maiden Mother Mage closes the circle at Thaney’s place of birth, East Lothian – supported by Haddington’s History Society and their community partners, with special thanks to Society Convenor Marie Macpherson. The performance forms part of a series of events that the Society is organising to celebrate Thaney’s connections to local history, which will include talks and workshops, a new mural commission and a guided Pilgrims’ walk from Traprain Law to St Mary’s Kirk, Haddington.
