Our Answer
Shown is one of a pair of boot scrapers at No.54 Court Street.
In the same street there is a niche for one at No.48 – the scraper has gone. Also, there is a very fine example at No.31. No.33, and the one at the police station (No.41), are broken.
There are also examples in Station Road – yours to find.
