What does this postcard show and how has this changed today?

The postcard shows Abbey Mill pre-WW2 when its wheel was still in position.  The interior fittings, and presumably the wheel, were removed for scrap during the war.   The weir was removed in the 1950s and in recent years the roof was destroyed by fire.  The mill is on the site of one which belonged to the Cistercian Nuns in the neighbouring priory.  The lade served as the main drain for the priory.
